As those dark nights draw in and the temperature starts to drop giving you the chill, it can only mean one thing... Halloween is creeping up.
As Halloween is a great time for kids, teenagers, and even some adults, we have dropped a few ideas for activities and events you can get up to with your family and friends.
Picking a Pumpkin at Tulley's Farm.
You will probably recognise this farm from many social media photos during the October and Halloween period of people picking out rather large pumpkins. Well, this is where it is done.
Located in Crawley, Tulley's Farm is the perfect place to select a pumpkin to scare your guest this year. At the farm you will find a bar (always great), street food, live music and, if you dare, enter the haunted attractions for Shocktoberfest. The farm is great for young families and friends!

Pumpkin Carving
Over the last two years, we have created some interesting pumpkins that turned out rather well if we must say. Instead of hollowing out the pumpkin, we sliced and carved depth into the pumpkin, giving it a more 3D look. We do recommend doing this nearer Halloween as the pumpkin will rot very, very quickly, leaving you with a furry mess, unless that is the Halloween decoration you are looking for.
We have posted a link to where we got the idea from here.
There are of course many other tutorials to find on Youtube.
Chislehurst Caves
Now, Chislehurst Caves isn't just for Halloween as it is open throughout the year, but it is said to be haunted... as you will find during the tour.
Located in Chislehurst, Bromley, the man-made caves have a long history dating back to the Romans, Druids, and Saxons and were used during WW1 and WW2. They were also used as a venue during the 1950s, 1960’s and 1970s for some of the biggest bands in rock and pop.
The caves provide an interactive way of learning history during your guided tour. This is recommended for everyone.
